The Brewery Field
The Brewery Field has been the home of Spennymoor United since 1904.
Ground Plan
| 1 | Main Stand and temporary Bar and Lounge Area. Alcohol is on sale here on match days. |
| 2 | The Tin Shed or the Joyce Hindmarch Stand to be correct. Named after former Chairman Barrie Hindmarch's wife. Can hold up to 1,500 standing supporters. |
| 3 | Male Toilets. Female toilets are available in the main stand. |
| 4 | Canteen (Currently not in use) |
| 5 | Bus Parking space or Car Parking |
| 6 | Old Burnt clubhouse. We supporters dream to have this back up and running and we believe is essential to build a sound financial base. (Currently not in use) |

How to get to The Brewery Field
By Road
From the South
Exit the A1(M) at Junction 59 signposted Newton Aycliffe. Take your 1st exit at
top of slip road signposted Spennymoor A167 and follow this road via Aycliffe
Village, Chilton and Ferryhill following signs for Spennymoor
and A167. At "Thinford Roundabout" take your 1st exit signposted Spennymoor
A688. At Mini-Roundabout turn Right, then immediate Left signposted "Borough
Council Offices". Follow this road until Traffic Lights. Turn Right at lights
and follow until Cemetery on your Right then take your next Left into Durham
Road. Ground in on your Right hand side on Wood Vue after passing two schools on
your Left.
From the North
Exit the A1(M) at Junction 61 signposted Spennymoor. Take your 3rd exit at
Roundabout signposted Spennymoor and follow until Roundabout. Take your 2nd exit
signposted Spennymoor and continue to "Thinford Roundabout". Take your 2nd exit
Signposted Spennymoor then at Mini-Roundabout turn Right, then immediate Left
signposted "Borough Council Offices". Follow his road until Traffic Lights. Turn
Right at lights and follow until Cemetery on your Right then take your next Left
into Durham Road. Ground in on your Right hand side on Wood Vue after passing
two schools on your Left.
From the West
A66 or M6 J38 The North East via
Tebay, Penrith, Brough and Kirkby Stephen. Exit at Barnard Castle A688
signposted Bishop Auckland. Continue through Barnard Castle Town Centre and
follow signs for A688 Bishop Auckland. Continue on A688 via Staindrop, Evenwood
Gate and West Auckland picking up signs for Spennymoor staying on A688.
Approaching Spennymoor follow signs for Town Centre over mini-roundabout and 3rd
exit at next Roundabout into Town Centre. Bear Left over zebra crossing passing
Kingfisher public house on your Right. At Mini-Roundabout take your 1st Exit
passing Salvin Arms public house on your left. Ground is 250yds on your Left
hand side on Wood Vue.
From the East
Exit the A19 at Wolviston signposted Bishop Auckland. Travel on the A689 via
Wynyard and Sedgefield. At Sedgefield Racecourse roundabout, turn Right
signposted Coxhoe and follow this road picking up signs for Spennymoor until you
reach "Thinford Roundabout". Take your 2nd exit Signposted Spennymoor then at
Mini-Roundabout turn Right, then immediate Left signposted "Borough Council
Offices". Follow this road until Traffic Lights. Turn Right at lights and follow
until Cemetery on your Right then take your next Left into Durham Road. Ground
in on your Right hand side on Wood Vue after passing two schools on your Left.
By Public Transport
By Bus
Bus number 724 from Newcastle into Spennymoor (via Durham) runs every hour.
Bus number 21 from Newcastle into Spennymoor (via Durham) twice an hour.
Bus number 6 runs from Durham into Spennymoor twice every hour.
Bus number 15 runs from Darlington into Spennymoor twice every hour.
By Rail
Nearest Train Station is Durham, situated approximately 6 miles North of
Spennymoor, buses run frequently (numbers 21, 724, 6) from Durham Bus Station
dropping off on Durham Road in Spennymoor approximately 100 yards from the
ground.
